Linda Kay Grubbs, 80 years old, passed away on Nov. 10th at Kinzua Nursing Home.
Linda was born April 3, 1945, in Warren, the daughter of Kenneth M. and Beulah L. Egger.
She graduated from Warren Area High School and lived in Warren, PA most of her life. She was part of the Warren High School Drum and bugle corps and played the drums. She worked at Blair (New Process) company, and she was a member of the Nazarene Church during the time she lived in Warren. She moved to Florida in 1989 and worked for the Letterbox for many years until she retired. She also moved and lived in Springfield, TN for several years before returning to Florida again. In 2022, she moved back to Warren where she lived at The Watson Home before being transferred to Kinzua Nursing home memory care.
She really enjoyed going to church and reading her daily devotion. She loved animals and had several dogs and cats throughout her life. She enjoyed spending time with family and watching her grandchildren grow up.
She is survived by her five children, (Son) Raymond L. Grubbs III and his wife, Carmen, Orange City, Fl; (daughter)Kelly L. Santilli and her husband Mario, Chapmansboro, TN; (Son) Ricky L. Grubbs, Daytona, Fl; (daughter) Kimberly A. Billman and her husband Kevin, Russell PA; (daughter) Kristy M. Hall and her husband Steve, Geneva, Fl; 8 grandchildren (Derek Grubbs, Shanya Grubbs, Evann Grubbs, Cigi (Tim)Young, Casey Luangratkhamkeo, Cayla (Chris) Luangratkhamkeo, Daren (Melissa)Hall and Jacob (Ashlyn) Hall); two brothers, Gary Wright, Erie, PA and Kenneth Wright Jr., Warren Pa. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, two brothers, Frederick Wright and Richard Wright; half-sister, Barbara Bonavita; half-brother Ronald Kemery and niece and nephews.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. 1003 Penna. Ave E. Warren, PA. Friends will be received from 12-1pm, Monday Nov 17th, at the funeral home with a service to follow.
