Timothy Prelog

Timothy Prelog

The world became significantly quieter (and probably a little safer) on Oct.26th, when Timothy “Spaz” Prelog of West Hickory, Pennsylvania, finally decided he’d had enough of humanity and rode off into the great beyond.

Born in Warren, PA, on Nov. 7, 1970, Tim made it clear from an early age that he wasn’t built for sitting still or for tolerating people. Over the years, he worked just about everywhere: the Air Force, Allegheny Toyota, Zep Cleaning Products, and even ran his own dog grooming business “Homeward Bound Mobile Pet Grooming”. He also served as a dog groomer in Titusville at “The Barking Lot”. He most recently taught motorcycle safety out of Erie. Tim was a man of many talents. A truly gifted musician, athlete, groomer, and professional hothead. He could play almost any instrument he picked up, hit a softball into next week, and deliver a one-liner that would either make you howl with laughter or run for cover.

He loved dogs far more than people, which is honestly one of his most relatable traits. He fostered and rehabilitated dogs that most folks had given up on, giving them the kind of love and life he thought everyone deserved (except maybe a few select humans). His fur babies Grady, Boo Boo, Georgie, and Stormy were his pride and joy and will continue to guard his legacy of chaos. Tim wouldn’t do something just to be nice but if he loved you, he’d give you everything he had.

He’s survived by the love of his life, Kari Prelog; his daughter, Alysha Clark; his mother, Cheryl Tarr; his sister, Karlissa Hoover; his brother, William “Buster” Hall (and wife Jessica); aunts Eleanor Weaver and Janice Hutchinson; uncle Allen Weaver; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and more friends than he’d ever admit.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Lloyd and Ruth Weaver. His Paternal Grandparents William and Mary Hall. His father William Hall, and his sister Gina Prelog.

So, raise a glass, rev a motorcycle engine, or pet a dog in his honor. Tim wouldn’t want a fuss but he’d definitely want a story worth telling.
