Rosemary E. Walsh
Rosemary E. Walsh, 78, of Warren, PA. and formerly of Wilkes-Barre, PA. died Sunday evening, Oct. 19, 2025, after an extended illness. Rosemary was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA. and was the daughter of Joseph L. and Ellen Klos Walsh. She has resided in Warren since 2012. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s School, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Misericordia University and her Master’s and Doctorate degree in Speech and Communication from Temple University. She was a professor at Penn State University, Hazleton, PA. Campus.
Rosemary was a member of Holy Redeemer R.C. Church, Warren, PA., she enjoyed playing piano and was an avid reader.
Rosemary is survived by her sister, Toni Williams and husband, Patrick of Warren, PA., 2 Nieces – Alison Mukhtar and husband, Saleem of West Port, CT., Katherine Cannon of Salt Lake City, Utah, 2 Nephews -Patrick Williams and wife, Carla of White Marsh, MD., Brennen Williams of Salt Lake City, Utah.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother – Joseph A. Walsh. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Nanticoke, PA.
