Karen Irene Hulings Davidson, 75, of Ludlow, PA, formerly of Warren, PA, died on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2025, in her home, after a courageous hard-fought battle with cancer.
She was born in Bradford on Jan. 27, 1950, the daughter of the late Samuel and Geraldine Hawes Stein. Karen was a 1967 graduate of Bradford High School and received her bachelor’s degree in business from Houghton University. She worked for 25 years in the Human Resource Dept., at Warren General Hospital, and retired from Calvert-Pearson Insurance in 2022. In her earlier years, Karen taught Piyo classes in Warren and Sheffield. She enjoyed walking with her husband, Larry, cooking, baking, holidays, and most importantly, spending time with her loving family.
On Oct. 5, 2024, in Sheffield, PA, she married Larry Davidson, and he survives.
In addition to her loving husband, Larry, Karen is survived by her children, Brielle Reitz and Jonathan, Gregg Hulings, and Michael Hulings, all of Warren, PA; two step-children, Misty Walton and Joe of Brookston, PA, and Matthew Davidson of Warren, PA; 4 grandchildren, Emily Reitz, Zachary Hulings, Zachary Walton, and Gage Walton; and one sister, Shirley Ferrara.
In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her first husband, Gary Hulings, and one sister, Betty Stefanczak.
Family will receive friends on Monday, Oct. 27, 2025, from 10 am to 12 pm in the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home Inc., 304 East St., Warren, PA. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home at 12 pm with the Rev. Dr. Dale Haight, officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Warren, PA.
