Gregory James Moore, age 59, an Oak Street Ridgway, PA resident, died on Monday Sept. 22, 2025 at Penn Highlands DuBois. Born on March 7, 1966 in DuBois, PA; he was the son of the late Robert Moore and Mae Clark Collins who survives and lives in Brookville. Greg was a business owner and a self-employed butcher for the majority of his life, concluding his career as owner and operator of West End Grocery in Ridgway. He was a member of the American Legion and the VFW Club, both in Ridgway. His greatest enjoyment came from riding his Harley Davidson. He also enjoyed fishing, canoeing, kayaking and hitting the trail in his side by side. In addition to his mother, he is also survived by a daughter Stephanie (Mark) Bell of Strattanville, PA; a son Joshua (Zell) MeKenny of Palm Springs, California; sisters Shirley Holben of Brookville and Peg Olson of Warren, PA; brothers Garry (Cathy) Moore of Falls Creek, PA; Brad (Robin) Moore of Reynoldsville, PA; Kevin Moore of DuBois, PA; half sister Sharon (George) Rapp of Shippenville, PA; half brother Bobby Moore (Heidi) of Sigel, PA; step-sisters Susan Gould (Todd) and Karen Snell (Dick) of Brookville, PA and step-brother Sammy Barnett of Reynoldsville, PA. Greg is also survived by 5 grandchildren: Hailey Klugh, Tyler Klugh, Lukas Klugh, Rodney Bell and Brooke Bell, as well as multiple nieces and nephew. Greg also had numerous friends, too many to ever mention them all, but he is also survived by his best friend Joe Wolff of Ridgway. In addition to his father, he is also preceded in death by a sister Patricia Moore and stepsister Betty Deibler. Visitation will be on Saturday Sept. 27 from 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM at the Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday Sept. 28 at 3 PM also at the funeral home with Rev. Terry Felt officiating. Burial will follow in Temple Cemetery in Hazen, PA.
