Diane M. Hoh

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, John and Regis Niver Eggleston, her daughter Julie Nannola, her ex-husband William Hoh and her sisters Elizabeth Hoffman (Ralph) and Sarah Eggleston, and by her son-in-law Kurt Howard.

A graduate of Warren High School, she attended St Bonaventure College. After raising her three children, she became a prolific author of 57 novels for young adults. According to Wikepedia, she is best known for her Nightmare Hall series and Point Horror novels.

Because Diane’s husband worked for I.B.M. they lived in many states, finally settling in Austin , TX. After 33 years, she returned to Warren to be closer to family..

Diane is survived by three children, Barry Hydeman (Jan) of Palo Alto, CA, Jennifer Howard, Portland, OR, Martin Hoh, Pittsburgh PA; Five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by six siblings, Linda Hagberg (John), John Eggleston (Karen), James Eggleston (VIctoria), Thomas Eggleston (Charlene), Margaret Brunecz( David), Mary Passinger (Robert).

Diane will be greatly missed by her family.
