Carol Louise Edmiston DeGolyer, 81, of Weldbank, passed away Saturday, Aug. 30, 2025, at the Warren Manor.
Carol was born Aug. 13, 1944, in Warren, the daughter of the late George Arnold and Delores Peterson Edmiston. She was a 1962 graduate of Warren High School. She was a Clerk at United Refinery from which she retired.
Carol was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran church. She enjoyed reading, walking, her dog, and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Carol is survived by her children, Kimberly DeGolyer of Clarendon, and Darla Froman and companion, Robert Gehr of Starbrick; four grandchildren, Kayla (Nathan) Marcy, Courtney (Joe) Wrobleski, Ryan (Kayla) Feidler, and Katherine Feidler; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Dennis (Sue) Edmiston of Colorado, and Terrance (Elaine) Edmiston of South Carolina.
In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband Clark Frederick DeGolyer, whom she married on June 9, 1962.
Friends will be received at Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc., 1003 Penna. Ave. East, Warren, PA, on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2025, from 10 am to 12 pm, at which time a funeral service will be held there with Reverend Heather Allport-Cohoon, pastor, St. John’s Lutheran Church, officiating.
A Celebration of Carol’s life will be held at the Clarendon Vet’s Club, 22 Brown Ave., Clarendon, PA, immediately following the funeral.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to Allegheny Valley Veterans Center, 100 N. Main St., Clarendon, PA.
