Rae A. Peterson

Rae was born Sept. 22, 1945, in Clarendon, the daughter of the late Carol Nelson. She worked as a Home Health Care Aid and also worked at the Rouse.

Rae loved to fish and hunt when she was younger. She enjoyed gardening, canning, making pies, and baked goods and also sold them at the Farmer’s Market. She also won prizes for her quilting. Rae was a member of the Trinity Memorial Episcopal Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Rae is survived by her husband, Ralph E. Peterson, whom she married in 1991; children, Darcie Marquart of Sheffield, Denise Fink of Pittsburgh, Lance Hetrick and wife Colleen of Clarendon, and Roy Hetrick and partner Kim Baldwin of Clarendon; sister, Vickie Bailey of Sheffield; brother, Harold Duke and wife Betty of Clarendon; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Diane Brant; special cousin, Mabel Munoz; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her mother, Rae was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Duke.

Friends will be received at Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc., 1003 Penna. Ave. East, Warren, PA, on Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2025, from 4 to 6 pm, at which time a service will be held there with Pastor James Crossley, officiating.
