Nancy (Black) Theuret

She was born in Warren on Nov. 24, 1943, a daughter to the late Lester and Mary (Taydus) Black. Nancy was raised and educated in Youngsville, graduating from Youngsville High School in 1962. She married Charles H. Theuret on Oct. 13, 1962 and they started their family. Nancy’s priority was raising and caring for her family. For 15 years she worked for Dairy Queen and was also the Directory of the Youngsville Public Library for many years. Starting in 1990 she was an EMT with the Garland VFD. In her earlier years, Nancy enjoyed swimming, skiing and gardening.

Surviving Nancy are her children, Brenda VanGuilder and her fiance, Robert Kerner, of Warren, Pam (Bruce) Wickwire of Youngsville, Paul (Lois) Theuret of Warren and Mark (Vicki) Theuret of Garland; her sister, Rose Theuret of Youngsville; her sister-in-law, Sue Black of Russell; 8 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, her siblings, Mary (Gayle) Meley and Patrick Black; her half brothers, Homer, Neil, Jim and Daniel Black and her half sisters, Fay Tressler, Ella Jane Graham, Donna Graham and Bernice Flasher.

Family and friends are welcome to call on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at the Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 314 N. Main St, Youngsville, PA 16371 from 3-5pm at which time a funeral service will be held there with the Rev. Jeff Ewing, pastor of First Lutheran Church in Warren, officiating.
