Mabel R. Dickey, 83, of Hull Hill Road, Youngsville, PA, passed away on July 24, 2025, at home.
Born on Aug. 13, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Reid Wible and Ruth Taylor Patty. She graduated from High School and went on to her studies at Clarion State College where she received a Bachelor’s Degree.
She was employed by the Warren County School District where she was privileged to be the Spanish Teacher at Youngsville High School. She also assisted her husband for many years at their business, Ed Dickey Equipment.
Mabel was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family. She was an avid gardener, spending much time tending to her flower and vegetable gardens. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Youngsville Chapter 478, where she enjoyed being their pianist for several years.
Mabel is survived by a daughter, Daria Wenzel of Youngsville; a grandson, Brandon (Alyssa Easley) Dickey of Jamestown, NY and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Dickey whom she enjoyed 60 years of marriage with; her stepfather, who along with her mother raised her, Harry Patty; and a son, Dana Dickey.
Those wishing to place a memorial in Mabel’s memory, may do so to a charity of their choice. McKinney Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 54 West Main St., Youngsville, PA have been entrusted with the arrangements.
