Charlene L. Reitz Lane, 74, of Warren, PA. died peacefully Thursday morning, July 24, 2025, at her residence with her family at her side. She was born June 22,1951, in St. Mary, PA. She was the daughter of William F. and Charlotte L. Smith Reitz, Sr. She was a lifelong Warren area resident. Char was a 1970 graduate of Warren Area High School. She was employed as an aide and activities director,with Watson Memorial Home, working for 35 years retiring from there in 2017.She had formerly been employed with the former D & K Store. Char was known to make a mean deviled egg.
She is survived by her son, Brian L. Anderson and wife, Lori of Youngsville, PA.,stepson – Arthur P. Lane and wife, Diane of Clarendon, PA., stepdaughter -Kimberly Lane Corey and husband, Eric M. of Warren, PA., sister – Penny Reitz Hillyard, brother – James E. Reitz both of Warren, PA., 6 grandchildren – Erika,Grady, Attie, Kole and his wife, Melissa, Brinna and TJ, 2 great grandchildren -Elias and Selena.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 14 years,Arthur C. Lane who died Mar. 29, 2008, whom she married Sept. 4, 1993, in Russell, PA., brother – William F. Reitz, Jr., sister – Bonnie Reitz and niece,Ashley Dawn Reitz.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at the Donald E.Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East St., Warren, PA., from 6 to 8 P.M. A funeral service will be held there on Monday, July 28, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Dr. Dale Haight, officiating.
