Stanley Winston Crouse, 93, of Warren PA, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2025, at the Rouse Home in Youngsville, PA.

Stanley was born on January 10, 1932, in Corydon, PA, the son of the late William F. and Nila B Carpenter Crouse. He then returned home and was employed at the National Forge Company as a machinist for many years, from which he retired. Stanley and his wife have been longtime members of the Warren First Church of the Nazarene.

Stanley was an avid and accomplished golfer, carrying a handicap of three, and enjoyed all the local courses. He was a member of the American Legion Post 135, and he also served on the Board of Directors for the National Forge Credit Union. Following his retirement, he worked as a Bus Driver for many years and loved it! He will be fondly remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and for his wit and his ability to make others laugh.

Stanley is survived by his wife, Salle E. (Jenkins) Crouse, of Warren, whom he married on August 31, 1957, at the Kinzua Methodist Church; three daughters, Patti G. Larson of Russell, Tina A. Rubright and husband Wayne of Warren, and Wendy S. Conklin and husband Rod of Russell; one son, Matthew S. Crouse and wife Marie of Russell; four grandchildren, Luke Conklin, Audrey Fitzgerald, Dylan Conklin, and Samantha Conklin; and three great-grandchildren, Keegan and Griffin Conklin and Gavin Davis-Rocah; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Stanley was preceded in death by an infant daughter Merri; three sisters, Phyllis Smith, Muriel Zevan, and Eileen Daniels; two brothers, Donald and Ronald Crouse; and his son-in-law, Glenn Larson.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 18 at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, 1003 Penna. Ave. E., Warren, PA, from 10 to 11 am, at which time a funeral service will be held, with Rev. Joel Dingeldein, pastor, Calvary Baptist Church, officiating.
