Margaret G. Martin
Margaret Gail Martin, 77 of Spring Creek, PA, died peacefully in her sleep May 28, 2025.
Gail was born on Dec. 3, 1947, to Roy T. Nicholson and Margaret S. Gesin. She was a long-time resident of Tidioute where she met her life-long best friend, Candace Druggan in the second grade. This is also where she met her husband, John W. Martin and raised her daughter, Crystal Davies. During her life, Gail worked many different jobs. She was particularly proud of receiving her R.N. Degree and working at the Deerfield Unit at Warren General Hospital, and for Hospice of Warren County. After her official retirement, the job Gail enjoyed the most was working with her family as “Course Ranger” and “Chief Cookie Baker” at Creekside Golf.
Gail was an avid reader and member of the Corry Library Book Club. She enjoyed baking baked goods (inside joke) and is credited with the best chocolate chip cookies in the area. She loved her flowers and sunny days with friends and family.
Gail was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, Thomas R. Nicholson.
She is survived by her sister, Sally Nicholson, daughter and son-in-law, Crystal and Jack Davies; grandson and his wife, Nicholas and Elissa Davies; granddaughter and her partner Abigail Davies and Corey Gibson; grandson, Nathaniel Davies; great-grandson, Henry Davies; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Corry Public Library, 117 W. Washington St., Corry, PA 16407 or to the Tidioute Public Library, 197 Main St., Tidioute, PA 16351.
