Linda Marie Bone, 70, of Palm Harbor, FL, passed away on June 8, 2025, in Tampa after a long and courageous battle with esophageal cancer. Born in Detroit, MI, Linda was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend who lived with a free spirit and a compassionate heart.
She built a fulfilling career as a realtor, where she loved helping many families find their homes. Alongside her late ex-husband, Bridd Bone, she owned several B.T. Bones Steakhouse restaurants–an iconic and well-loved chain across Florida during its time.
Linda also served proudly as president of the Palm Harbor Eagles Club and was a passionate supporter of progressive causes. Her Christian faith sustained her throughout her life and gave her peace in her final days.
She is survived by her sons, Bridd Bone and Jesse Hodges; her mother, Mary Hopshire; and siblings Frank Hopshire, Susan Walkley, Diane Galiano, and John Hopshire. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Hopshire.
A celebration of life will be on Sunday, 6/29/25 at her Eagles in Palm Harbor, Fl.
