Craig, born Oct. 20th, 1956 to parents Roger and Elizabeth Nuhfer of Warren, PA, he is survived by siblings Marshal (Georgia Lewis) Nuhfer of Erie, PA, Fredrick (Debra) Nuhfer of Warren, PA, Sheldon (Theresa Bryars) Nuhfer of Cumming, GA, and Renee (Fred) Rulander of Tidioute, PA.

Craig graduated from Warren Area High School in 1974. He worked in a sub shop (where he met Lori) then was employed in multiple positions at the National Forge Company. Over the years, he continued his career in the steel industry, eventually earning his Bachelor’s degree in Quality Control and Masters of Science degree in Business Administration. He was the Quality Assurance Manager when he retired from Bohler Uddeholm in 2023. He was a long time member of the Elks Lodge, the Eagles Lodge, and a Freemason.

Craig’s hobbies included golfing, sporting events, riding motorcycles, playing card games and cribbage, being a huge music lover, working on project automobiles, and playing softball.

Lori, born Mar. 26th, 1958 to parents Donald and Helen Rotter is survived by sibling Linda (William) Snyder of Warren, PA. She received her GED from Warren Area High School in 1975. She worked at Warren Manor before going to the Department of Human Services for 13-years. Before retiring, she had been a Behavior Assistant and Classroom Instructor in Halifax, VA.

Lori’s hobbies included hosting events with friends, cooking and baking, she enjoyed reading, collecting family heirlooms and antiques, keeping an immaculately clean house, and caring for her pets and plants.

Craig and Lori were married on Mar. 15th, 1975 and lived a life full of laughs, adventures, and weren’t afraid of taking risks. They enjoyed traveling, long walks but also just sitting around with each other, or with friends, having a drink and laughing it up. They were forever kind hearted and giving, willing to offer a hand, or even open their doors to those in need. Their love for one another was always true, infectious and constant. Food and drinks were always plentiful in their household. They were the most amazing parents to their 2 sons and then superseded that level once they became grandparents. They had recently entered into their next adventure in life together with moving to Ocala, FL in 2023 to begin their retirement. They had been fully enjoying it and their fun-loving spirits quickly met so many new friends and lifelong connections while there.

They are survived by their children Derron (Joslin) Nuhfer of Atlanta, GA and Scot (Gloria) Nuhfer of St, Augustine, FL and their grandchildren Ryder and Ridley, along with many others that considered them “Mom and Dad.”

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 5th in Warren, PA, at 1pm at the Elks Lodge #223, 341 Hickory St., Warren, PA.
