Patricia J. Holshouser
Patricia Johnson Holshouser, 82, of Salisbury, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at Trinity Oaks Health and Rehab, Salisbury, NC. She was born March 18, 1943, in Warren, PA, to Anthony Bonavita and Martha Heald Longcor. She graduated from Warren Area High School in 1961 and cosmetology school in 1962. She was a beautician for 14 years, then worked for Struthers-Wells Federal Credit Union, later merging with National Forge Credit Union. She was the credit union manager until her retirement and moved to North Carolina. In North Carolina, she worked as a front-end manager at Marshalls Dept Store for five years until retiring for the second time.
Mrs. Holshouser was a member of Christiana Lutheran Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and loved to dance.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband of 48 years, Kirk Johnson; her second husband of two years, Clifford Bernard Holshouser; and brother Joseph “Buddy” Bonavita.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Kevin Johnson (Janie), of Colfax, NC; daughter, Kristy Livengood (Alan), of Salisbury, NC; Grandchildren Nichole Rushing (Jessie) of Crestview, FL, Heather Cianciosi (Anthony) of Liverpool, NY, Dustin Johnson of Kernersville, NC, Mitchell Cowden (Maisie) of Suffolk, VA, Alexis Locklair of Fletcher, NC, Brittany Livengood (Will Lynch) of Fletcher, NC; great-grandchildren Kyleigh Rushing, Warren Cowden, Eleanor Cowden, Blake Locklair and Olive Lynch; and sisters Toni Cowher, Janice Lockwood, Sheila Carter, and Shelly Longcor-Weber.
A private funeral service will be at the convenience of the family.
