Loren “Larry” A. Cauvel

He was born on August 4, 1940 in Franklin, PA, to the late Clarence and Opal Cauvel, and was raised in Deckards, PA. He graduated from Cochranton High School in 1958 and went on to work at Struthers Wells in Warren as a non destructive test operator and radiograph technician, from 1962 until their closing in 1993. He married Marilyn M. Cauvel on November 4, 1962 in Tidioute, and they began their life together. Larry enjoyed working in the yard and antiques. He and Marilyn ran several antiques business over the years. Larry also enjoyed working on the family homestead in Deckards, and having a diet Coke with the Struthers Wells crew at Burger King. He loved his loyal cats, Juniper and Lizzie.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded by his siblings, Gary Cauvel, Ronald Cauvel and Sandra “Sue” Rhodes.

Larry is survived by his children, Michele Cauvel of Youngsville, and Jeffery Cauvel of St. Marys, PA; his grandchildren, Misty Rutz of St. Marys and Travis Cauvel of St. Marys. PA; his brother Donald Cauvel; as well as his beloved nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be announced and held at a later date.
