Paul Pierottio

Paul Pierotti, 80, of N. Tionesta Ave., passed away Monday, Dec. 23, 2024, at Sena Kean Manor. Born May 3, 1944 in Kane, he is the son of the late Frank and Linnea (Paulson) Pierotti. He married Geraldine “Pudge” Nystrom, who survives.

Paul had been employed as a driver for UPS from 1972 until his retirement in 2002. Prior to that he had worked construction. He was a member of Tabor Evangelical Lutheran Church, a former member of the Kane Elks, an Eagle Scout and he had played trumpet in the Kane Cadets when he was younger. He was an avid NASCAR and dirt track racing fan.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter Tammy (Ed) Vanerstrom of Monroe, NC; two sons, Craig Pierotti of Kane and Doug (Annette) Pierotti of Waxhaw, NC; a sister Mary Louise (Michael) Ott of Grand Rapids, MI; five granddaughters, Tara, Lauren, Laurel, Abbey, and Maddie; and three grandsons, Kaleb, Kyle and Kieran. Paul is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to attend a memorial service which will take place on Dec. 30, 2024 at 12 p.m. at Tabor Lutheran Church, with the Rev. David Pflieger officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the church prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. A luncheon will be provided after the service at Tabor Lutheran church.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
