Norma J. Nagurney
Norma J. Nagurney, 89, of Youngsville, PA, passed away Monday, Dec. 23, 2024, at the Rouse Home.
Norma was born Dec. 12, 1935, in Warren, PA, the daughter of the late Norman and Mildred (McKendrick) Andersen. She was a 1955 graduate of Warren High School.
Norma was a longtime member of St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church. She was the church secretary and Sunday School teacher for many years. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, being outdoors and tending to her greenhouse and flowers. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Norma is survived by her daughter, Molly Lawson of Tidioute, PA; five grandchildren, Michael Lawson of Pittsfield, Meghan Dean of Youngsville, Greg Nagurney of Vermont, Emily Nagurney of Erie, and Andrew Nagurney of California; six great-grandchildren; daughter in law, Mary Munch Nagurney of North Warren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony “Kit” Nagurney, whom she married on April 7, 1956; son, Greg Nagurney; sister, Carol Bartolo; and brother, Charles “Chuck” Andersen.
Service for Norma will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
