Marvin LeRoy Schlining
Marvin LeRoy Schlining, 83 of Garland, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at home. Born July 21, 1941, in Akeley, PA, he was the son of the late Henry James and Marvel Joy Passenger Schlining.
He was retired from his employment at Gorden’s Scrap Metal and Salvage in Warren.
Surviving is his wife, Bertha Louise Clark Schlining whom he married on May 15, 1965 in Bear Lake; a son, John Schlining of Garland; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and sisters-in-law.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Edie Louise Schlining; a sister, Beverly Hallowell; and a brother, Frederick Schlining.
A graveside service will be held at the Wesleyan Cemetery, Rte 957, Sugar Grove on Tuesday at 1 pm. McKinney Funeral Homes and Cremation services are in charge of the arrangements.
