Selma M. Westfall

She was born December 23,1938 in Tidioute, daughter of the late Harold Huntington and Hazel Irene (Cornell) Huntington.

She is a graduate of Tidioute High School.

She took great pride in raising her 5 children as well as doing upholstery. She enjoyed spending time with her family supporting them in all of their thousands of extracurricular activities. She cherished attending every event, every sport, for every child, grandchild and great grandchild. She was always there cheering everyone on. When she wasn’t attending events, she was off visiting relatives, family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Selma was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Donald Westfall, two brothers Jerry and Thomas and sister Patricia (Huntington) Vogler.

Selma is survived by two daughters, Dawnette Kriner (Doug) of Erie, PA, and Gina Bernal (late Rudy) of Las Vegas, NV; three sons Larry (Maryanna) of Warren, PA, Jeff (Krista) of Erie, PA, Michael (Jeanette) of Fairview, PA; two brothers Paul Huntington and John Huntington. Sister Marjorie (Huntington) Ohl. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Family and friends may call at the Rusell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home, Inc. 5000 Wattsburg Rd. Erie, PA 16504 on Tuesday from 4 pm to 7 pm and are invited to a funeral service there on Wednesday at 10 am. Burial will be private in Tidioute Cemetery, Tidioute, Pa.
