Jeanne M. Straight, 60, of Route 957, Sugar Grove, PA, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2024 at Warren General Hospital, Warren, PA.
Jeanne was born on April 30, 1964 in Olean, NY, the daughter of the late Glenn and Mildred Taylor Osgood.
She graduated from Bradford High School. Following high school, she earned an associate degree in Cosmetology from Continental Beauty School. Jeanne was employed at McDonald’s in Warren, PA and was a driver with Door Dash. She really loved working with people throughout the years.
Jeanne was a member at Sugar Grove Free Methodist Church. She was an avid reader and enjoyed reading true crime and historical books. She collected carousels, bells and enjoyed cross stitch. In her younger years she enjoyed soap operas. She was protective of her family whom she loved very much and loved spending time with them. She loved animals, especially her two cats and three dogs. She enjoyed traveling when there was history involved. She loved history and always had the History channel on at home.
In addition to her parents, Jeanne is preceded in death by her sister: Brenda Raught and two grandchildren: Christina and Jason Pessia.
Jeanne is survived by her husband, Donald E. “DJ” Straight, Jr. whom she married on March 14, 1999 in Chandler’s Valley, PA; two sons: Robert (Krista) Pessia of Cedar Park, TX and Stephen Wolfer of Sugar Grove, PA; two daughters: Shannon (Kelly) Larson of Warren, PA and Alecia (Andrew) Kingan of Pittsfield, PA; a brother: Bruce (Jennifer) Osgood of Sicklerville, NJ; two sisters: Deborah (Gary) McLaughlin of Bradford, PA and Sherry (Paul) Rodgers of Bradford, PA; grandchildren: Nicholas, Miles and Lexis Wolfer, Paris, Byron, Matthew and Peyton Pessia and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call at Joy Fellowship FMC, 515 E. 7th Street, Jamestown, NY on Tuesday, September 24th from 11 AM- 1PM. A funeral service will be held at 1PM. Pastor Dodi McIntyre, pastor of the church will officiate.
