Robert S. Calimeri
Robert S. Calimeri, of Lander, PA passed away on August 3, 2024 at the Warren Manor. He was 73. Bob was born to Sebastian and Margaret Bogenschutz Calimeri on June 18, 1951 in Jamestown, NY.
He was a graduate of Jamestown High School, Class of 1969. He was employed by the Laborers Local 600 and 621 for 30 years. Upon his retirement he worked for Decker Transportation and the Chautauqua Lake Association.
He was a lifetime member of the Lander Volunteer Fire Department. He served several years as Chief, President and Trustee. He also coached the Lander Tabby Football team for 15 years. He was extremely active in the Eisenhower music boosters when his daughter was in school. Bob also served as Farmington Township EMA Director for several years. He was also a current member of the Lakewood Rod & Gun Club.
He is survived by his wife Laurel Nelson Calimeri of 53 years; a daughter Stacy Chitty (Brian) of Delevan, NY; two grandchildren: Allison and Joshua Chitty; and a brother Carl H. Calimeri (Katherine) of Jamestown. His passion was always his family and the times he spent with them.
A memorial service will be held at the Lander Community Church on August 24, at 11:30. Pastor Dale Mc Millen will officiate.
The visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

The family would also like to thank the staff at Warren Manor for the wonderful care that they gave Bob this past year.
