Dorothy S. Nero

Dorothy was born on May 23, 1928, in Sandy Lake, Pa. After graduating from High School, she attended Nursing School in Cleveland, OH. She was a nurse for many years then went on to work for the Warren County Police Department as a clerk from which she retired.

Dorothy was an amazing cook and made the best lasagna. She enjoyed gardening and worked in her gardens until she was no longer able. She will always be remembered for her big heart and being a wonderful mother and grandmother.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Neva Engwall and her husband Keith of Florida, Paula Morine and her husband Mike of Warren, and Todd Nero of Colorado; grandchildren, Troy Rex and wife Jessica, Tracey Rex and husband Ted Smith both of Warren, Erin Acevedo and husband Louis, Jason Wilbur and wife Cindy and Joshua Wilbur and wife Melinda; ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, her late husband Paul Nero, a daughter Lynnea (Tippy) Wilbur, infant son, Troy Nero, grandson, Justin Wilbur.

In accordance with Dorothy wishes no services will be held.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff and caregivers at the Rouse Suites for the wonderful care given to Dorothy.
