William Lennie “Bill” Cornelius

William Lennie “Bill” Cornelius, 65, of Warren, PA, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at his residence.

Bill was born March 9, 1959, in Oil City, PA, the son of the late Lennie H. Cornelius and Carolyn J. Challstrom Cornelius. He was a 1978 graduate of Warren Area High School. He was employed as a small engine repair mechanic.

Bill was a member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church. He loved model trains since he was a toddler, loved boating on Kinzua with his dad, and especially enjoyed his family and many friends.

Bill is survived by his sister, Virginia L. Klinger and husband Randy of Franklin, PA; and several nieces Kim, Janille, Tina, Samantha, and nephew Scott, and many great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his son, Chad A. Cornelius; two sisters, Linda C. Hoover and her husband Michael, and Robin L. Cochran and her husband Rick; and one brother, John E. Cornelius. John’s wife Donna survives.

Friends will be received at Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc., 1003 Penna. Ave. East, Warren, PA, on Tuesday June 18th from 6:00pm to 8:00 pm and for one hour prior to a funeral service that will be held there on Wednesday, June 19th at11am., with Reverend Rick Hamrick, pastor, Youngsville Free Methodist, officiating.

Burial to follow at Warren County Memorial Park.
