Katherine E. “Kat” Wier

Kat was born on July 5, 1961, in Tacoma Washington, the daughter of the late Donald and Roseanne Flick Hogan. She was a 1979 graduate of Sheffield High School. Her careers have included construction, caregiving and most recently a waitress at the Warren Eagles Club. She enjoyed diamond art, bead art and crafting, she enjoyed family and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be forever remembered as a beloved sister, mother, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother to her family and so many others.

She is survived by three children, Joleen McBride of Lewis Run, PA, Keith Falconer and wife Kate of Warren, Regina Falconer and companion Wesley Gabriel of Athens, GA; seven grandchildren, Capprianne, Lacresia, Danielle, Ambria, Kaylee, Lielee, and Ashleigh; great grandchildren, Karma, Lexi, Miah. Kat is also survived by her soulmate Tom Shine.

A celebration of Kat’s life will be held at Chapman Dam State Park pavilion 3 on Sunday, June 23, 2024, 12:00pm- whenever.
