Herbert L. Wagner

Herb was born October 18, 1944, in Jersey Shore, PA, the son of the late John and Luva Waganer. He was a 1962 graduate of Jersey Shore High School. He was employed as a machine mechanic for Osram Sylvania from which he retired in 2004.

Herb was a member of the First Church of God. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed hunting and loved being with his family and grandkids and many friends throughout the years. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Herb is survived by his wife, Bonnie L. Lauffenberger Wagner, whom he married on May 31, 1975; three children, Troy Wagner of Warren, Mattie Pollock and husband George of Erie, and Dawn Bines of Sugar Grove, and daughter in law Ann Wagner of Warren; brothers, Charlie Wagner and wife Sandy of Jersey Shore, PA, and Richard Wagner of Oklahoma; and sister Sara Hennessy of Warren.

In addition to his parents, Herb was preceded in death by daughter, Sally Engstrom; brothers, George, John and Harry Wagner; and sisters, Mary and Anna; and an infant brother, David.

Friends will be received at First Church of God, 1111 Madison Ave., Warren, PA, on Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 10:00am to 11:00am, at which time a service will be held there with Reverend Bill Hargenrader, pastor, officiating.
