Caroline B. Bower

Caroline B. Bower, 84, of Youngsville, PA, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

She was born on Feb. 26, 1940 in Warren, PA, a daughter to the late Lawrence and Margaret (Loomis) Baker. Caroline worked at the New Process Blair Co. retiring after 33 years. She married the love of her life, Raymond Bower, on Aug. 4, 1958 in Millsport, PA. They were married for 65 years and enjoyed the time they shared with their family. Caroline was a very extravagant decorator for every holiday and loved her rings; as many probably noticed, she wore many everyday. Her cooking, baking and canning will be missed. She also enjoyed going to the casino. Caroline was a caring, loving person that helped anyone that needed it. She was a member of the Youngsville American Legion Post #658 and the Warren Eagles Club.

Caroline is survived by her children, Raymond (Maria) Bower of Rosharon, TX, Diane Bower of Youngsville and Ralph (Nancy) Bower of Clairton, PA; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Caroline was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, just 4 months ago and her children, Amy Jo Courson and Claude Bower as well as 12 siblings.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at the Youngsville Free Methodist Church, 179 Davis Street, Youngsville, PA 16371, from 2-4pm at which time a memorial service will be held there with the Rev. Rick Hamrick, pastor, officiating. Burial will be private at Warren County Memorial Park.
