Sally R. Citro

Born April 10, 1938, in Kane, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Helen Carlson Keneske. On September 26, 1960, in California, she married Alfred A. Citro who preceded her in death after 62 years of marriage.

Sally worked for Eastern Airlines from 1957-1959. She had been employed by Martin Marietta from 1959-1960 and later worked at Sperry Gyroscope. She was the president of Fuschicho Trading and B&D Enterprise until her retirement. Sally enjoyed gardening and painting.

Surviving are two children, Cary C. Citro of Warren and Amy (Jerry) Lehman of Treasure Island, FL; two grandsons, Anthony Citro of Arlington, VA and Steffan Peterson of Killeen, TX; two granddaughters, Cecilia Citro of Warren and Sofia Peterson of Wayne, NJ; two brothers, Gerald “Bud” Keneske of FL and Don (Bonnie) Keneske of Kane; a sister, Carol Carson of Kane; and five nieces, Luann, Joy, Janel, Nancy and Kim; and a nephew, Keith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Al, and her parents.

Friends will be received at the Cummings Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday at Tabor Evangelical Lutheran Church with The Rev. David Pflieger officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
