Lisa A. May

Lisa A. May, 62 of Warren, passed away on Thursday morning May 9, 2024, at Kinzua Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in Warren, PA with her loving family by her side.

She was born in Warren on October 22, 1961, the daughter of Robert Eyler and Janet (Thomas) Eyler.

After high school she gained employment at the Blair Corporation. She married Thomas D. May on December 9, 2000, in Wrightsville, PA. Some of her hobbies included gardening, especially flowers, she enjoyed shopping and was avid about going to yard and garage sales. She cherished her collection of decorative black bears and her porcelain dolls. She enjoyed all the holidays where she could have her family together and prepare a bountiful meal for them. Even through Lisa’s health struggles, she persevered and overcame many obstacles.

Left behind to cherish Lisa’s memory are her husband Thomas May at home, her sons Brandon Shirley and Corey Shirley; her stepchildren Ramsey May, Jesse May, Austin May, and Sabrina Sturges. She is further survived by her siblings Robin Morrison, Clarendon, Ricky Eyler, Princess Anne, MD, Amelia Nelson, N. Warren, Chris Eyler (Sally), Cyclone, PA, Thomas Eyler (Missy), Wrightsville, PA, Frances Eyler, Warren, Brycelyn (Carey) Glover, Austin, PA and Pete Eyler (Andrea) of Sugar Grove. She is further survived by her grandchildren: Hailey and Paisley Van Guilder, Payton Shirley, and Athena Shirley. Left also is her dog, Shadow, at home.

Lisa was preceded in death by her mother and father, Janet, and Robert Eyler; her stepsons Tom May and Justin Ashley May and a nephew, Jason Eyler.

There will be no visitation or services held for the public. Private family services will be held on Monday, May 13, 2024, at the Borden Funeral Home in Sheffield. Pastor Ruth Ann Varrato will preside. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
