Happy Priscilla Cornwall

Happy Priscilla (Nobbs) Cornwall, 79, of Center St., Randolph, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2024 in the Warren Manor, Warren, Pa.

She was born Dec. 22, 1944 in Corry PA the daughter of the late Dale A. and Dorothy Mae (Sandstrom) Nobbs.

She grew up in Niobe, NY and was a 1962 graduate of Panama Central School. She was employed by Jamesway and while working in the new Warren, PA store, she met the love of her life who became her husband and caretaker, Bob.

She retired from the Gail N. Chapman Elementary School in Randolph in 2005, where she worked as a kindergarten teacher’s aide for 20 years.

She loved Elvis Presley, cooking, reading, collecting silver jewelry and anything that included being with her children. Being a mother and grandmother to her three daughters and nine grandchildren was the greatest joy of her life.

She exercised great faith that helped her through her many health challenges over the last several years. She is a member of the East Randolph Methodist Church and was a member of UMW. She was blessed with and will be missed by many lifelong friends and relatives, whom she enjoyed keeping in touch with through her favorite pastime: talking on the phone.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Robert C. Cornwall, whom she married on June 3, 1967 in Panama, NY, Her three daughters; Jennifer Senn (David) of Randolph, NY, Diane Graham (Gregory) of Randolph, NY, and Bethany Bush (Glenn Davis) of Amherst, NY., and her 9 beloved grandchildren -Hayden (Annie Berg) Senn, Wesley Senn (Jessica), Madelyn Senn, Carter Graham, Evan (Emily Pfleuger) Graham, Kassidy Graham, Cooper Bergman, Oliver Bush and Chandler Bush. Her brother Jon Arvid Nobbs of Blockville, NY and several nieces.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Elizabeth Anne Cornwall and twin granddaughters Mackenzie Martha and Paige Marie Senn.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 1 to 3 PM Sunday, Feb. 4, from the VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church St., Randolph, New York. Funeral services will follow at 3 PM in the funeral home. The Rev. Tim Middleton, Pastor of the East Randolph Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Grant Cemetery in Niobe/Panama, NY.
