Emmett M. Foster, 75, of Corry, PA, passed
away Friday, February 2, 2024 at his home.
He was born January 5, 1949 in Charleston,
WV, a son of the late Orrin and Artie (Bradley)
Foster.
Emmett was raised and educated in West
Virginia and graduated from Spencer High
School. After high school he moved to Corry and
worked for Corry Jamestown for a short time
until he was drafted into the US Army. He served
from February of 1969 until September of 1970.
After his honorable discharge, he moved back to
Corry and continued working at Corry
Jamestown. He then was a truck driver for many
years until he retired.
He was a member of the American Legion
Post 365. He enjoyed coin collecting, boating,
fishing and hunting. He was a decorated
Marksman and enjoyed participating in various
competitions. He loved classic cars, was a major
history buff and avid animal lover.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in
death by three sisters, Darlene Cottrell, Carol
Russ and Betty Barton; two brothers, Johnny and
Keith Foster; two sisters-in-law, Gayle Foster
and Mabel Foster and two brothers-in-law, Curtis
Barton and Rex Batton.
Emmett is survived by his wife, Jewel
(Roberts) Foster, whom he married on October
25, 1997 in Staunton, VA; two sons, Kelly Scott
Yucha of Corry, PA and Michael Robinson and
his husband Kevin of Lake Elsinore, CA; two
sisters, Linda Batton of Waynesboro, VA and
Donna Guy and her husband Josh of Grottos,
VA; brother, Billy Foster of Spencer, VA;
daughter, Amy Lewellyn and her husband David
of Warren, PA and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Scott with
Community Nursing Services and Kayla with
Comfort Keepers for the outstanding care they
provided to Emmett.
Family and Friends are invited to attend a
graveside service at Pine Grove Cemetery, E
Columbus Ave, Corry, PA on Thursday,
February 8th at 2 pm. Pastor Les Utegg will
officiate. Full Military Honors will also
accompany the service. A dinner will be provided
at Relevant Church, 100 W. South St, Corry, PA
16407 following the service starting at 3 pm.

Nursing Services of North East, 7 Park St, North
East, PA 16428.
