Elizabeth Mae (Sundell) Swanson (Betty, Sunny)

She was born March 11, 1935, to Earl and Anna (Olson) Sundell. She grew up in Tidioute and married her high school sweetheart, J. Dorman Swanson. She dedicated her life to raising her four children, Barbie (Marty) Wallin, Dale (Nancy) Swanson, Amy (Tom) Yaegle, and Nancy (Jim) Chapman.

She was very active at Grace Methodist Church and the Friendship Class. She loved traveling and her home in Estero, Florida. She loved quilting, painting, sewing and square dancing.

She is survived by her four children and 16 grandchildren, Felicia (Ryan) Mortenson, Katrina Drum, Rochelle (Brian) Fleischmann, Josiah (Ann) Wallin, Annika (Matt) Ells, Wesley (Hannah) Wallin, Joel (Elphie) Swanson, Michael Swanson, Sharaya (Logan) Vivian, Keith (Libby) Yaegle, Christa (Taylor) Stamm, Jamie (Kris) Gerow, Victoria (Eric) Bill, Lydia Chapman, Zachary Chapman, and Natalie Chapman, as well as 26 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 2011, an infant daughter, and three great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at Warren Alliance Church, 278 Kinzua Rd., Warren, PA, on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, from 10:00am to 11:00am at which time a funeral service will be held with Jim Chapman, officiating.

Burial will be in Swedish Union, Tidioute, PA.
