Ann F. Spelling, 86, formerly of Bear Lake, PA, passed away Friday, February 16, 2024 at the Corry Manor.
She was born April 7, 1937 in Erie, PA, a daughter of the late James and Frances (Bieble) Kaveney.
Ann graduated from St. Benedict Academy in 1955. After high school she became a beautician and owned her own beauty shop until she got married on October 18, 1958 at St. Boniface Church in Erie.
She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church. She enjoyed baking, taking care of her plants and reading. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Ann was a great spiritual leader for anyone that wanted to talk.
In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Spelling Jr.; daughter, Kirsten May; sister, Helen Bokshan and two brothers, Dennis and John Paul Kaveney.
She is survived by daughter, Lisa Spelling of North East, PA; five sons, Phil (Barb) Spelling of Ohio, Toby (Dena) Spelling of New Jersey, Charlie (Okcha) Spelling of Bear Lake, PA, Eric (Julie) Spelling of Kentucky and Andrew Spelling of Bear Lake, PA; son-in-law, Brian May of Bear Lake, PA and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to call at Bracken Funeral Home Inc., 315 N. Center St, Corry, PA on Tuesday, February 20th, from 5 PM to 8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 W. Washington St, Corry, PA, on Wednesday, February 21st, at 11 AM. Rev. Tom Whitman will officiate.
Burial will be in Bear Lake Cemetery, Bear Lake, PA.
