Patricia A. Dunkle, of Spring Creek, PA, passed away at her son’s residence in The Colony, TX, on Sunday, December 24, 2023.

Patty was born September 9, 1930 in Warren, PA and was the daughter of the late Martin & Mamie Swanson. She was a member of the Berea Lutheran Church in Wrightsville, PA and was also a member of the Eastern Star. Patty was actively involved with the Pittsfield PTA and served in multiple positions including President.

Patricia was married to Mike Dunkle on April 10, 1954. (65 Years) She is survived by son Mike (Vicki) Dunkle, II, son in law Charles McGathy, grandchildren Lindsey Dunkle, Erin and Michael McGathy, great grandchildren Aaliyah and Kingston Dunkle.

She was preceded in death by her husband Mike in February 2020, brother Charles Swanson in December 2009, daughter Susan Lynn McGathy in October 2000, and grandson Blake Hunter Dunkle in December 2013.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 10 AM at the Berea Lutheran Cemetery with the Rev. Nancy Schwanke officiating.
