Kevin Mead

Born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania, Kevin attended Cathedral Preparatory School, Canterbury School and University College Dublin.

Kevin worked as a reporter for The Erie Times News, as the publisher of the Warren Times Observer and a member of the Board of Directors of the Times Publishing Company. He was a Rotarian, founding member of the Warren County Chamber of Business and Industry and former member of the Board of Representatives of WPSU, the public broadcasting station serving the State College area.

He is survived by his son, Brendan; daughter, Francesca; son-in-law, Alfred Wang; brother, Tim; sister, Nora Mead Brownell; numerous nieces and nephews; and granddog, Snuffy Saint Pierre.

He was preceded in death by wife of 38 years, Ann Turowski Mead; brother, Michael; mother, M’evie; and father, George.

The family will be mourning in private; no services will be held; donations may be made in Kevin’s name to the Warren County Summer Music School at www.wcsms.org or the Community Foundation of Warren County at 310 2nd Ave. Warren, PA, 16365.
