Joyce Ann Hishman

Joyce was born and raised February 24, 1930, in Meadville, PA, the daughter of the late Edwin and Gladys (Woodring) Jennings. She graduated from Meadville High School. In 1957 she married Paul Hishman, also from Meadville, and moved to Kane, PA until 1961, then moved to Warren. Joyce was employed with Tri-County Intermediate Unit as a teacher’s aide.

Joyce was a lover of music, singing in many different choirs, but especially fond of four-part harmony. She was a member of Sweet Adelines, including a number of years singing in several quartets.

Joyce is survived by two sons, Bruce Hishman and wife Kelly of Holley, NY, and David Hishman of Russell, PA; five granddaughters; a grandson; a great grandson; a sister; two sister-in-laws; and two nieces.

In addition to her parents, Joyce is preceded in death on August 9, 2007, by husband Paul F. Hishman; and granddaughter, Sarah Hishman.

Services for Joyce will not be held at this time.
