Brian W. Kibbey

Brian was born April 29, 1967, in Warren, the son of the late Walter A. “Ben” Kibbey and Hilma Smith Kibbey, who survives. He was a 1985 graduate of Warren Area High School and after high school, attended Gannon University. He was employed as a Scott Enterprise as a bartender at Snuffy’s, Applebees, and the Elks Lodge. He drove school buses in Warren and Millcreek and drove limousines for Munksgards. He was also a member of the Elks Lodge.

Although a quiet soul, Brian loved his profession as a bartender. Through his wit and sarcasm he had a special gift of making people laugh and have a great time . He enjoyed his afterwork social life by making his rounds to Cronies, the Elks and Drafthouse. Brian lived behind the scenes which made him an excellent listener and a wonderful friend. Brian will be missed by so many friends.

In addition to his mother, Hilma, Brian is survived by his siblings, Todd I. Kibbey and wife Kelly of Warren, and Lisa A. Yarnall and husband Daniel of Warren; several cousins, aunts, and uncles.

In addition to his father, Ben, who passed on October 18, 2007, Brian is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Clarence “Jack” and Marion Kibbey; and maternal grandparents, Willis and

Services for Brian are private but a celebration of life will be planned in April.
