Mary Jane C. Martin, 86, of Warren, PA., died Wednesday morning, Oct. 11, 2023, at Kinzua Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, Warren, PA., after an extended illness. Mary Jane was born Nov. 8, 1936, in Warren, PA., She was the daughter of Christopher and Pauline Maze Colvin. She was a lifelong Warren area resident. Mary Jane graduated in 1954, from Warren High School. She was employed for 42 years, with Blair Corporation in the Collections-Credit Department. She was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Church. She was an avid walker, enjoyed walking with her sister, Donna. She is remembered as a loving grandmother, great grandmother and loved and tolerated her boys.
She is survived by her two sons, William J. Martin and wife, Kelly, Ronald A. Martin and wife, Chari; one sister Donna Tutaro; five grandchildren Brandi, William, Nolan, Aaron, and Jessica Martin; five great-grandchildren, all of Warren, PA.; several nieces, and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Martin whom she married July 23, 1960, in Warren, PA., who died March 24, 1983; six siblings Phillis Powers, Phil Colvin, Janice Cowles, Tom Colvin, Jack Colvin, and Diane Pratz.
Family will receive friends on Friday, Oct. 13, 2023, at St. Joseph R.C. Church, 600 Pennsylvania Avenue West, Warren, PA. from 10 to 11 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 AM with Fr. Richard Tomasone, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery. Warren, PA.
