Cheryl (Kasperek) Goggan

She was Born on January 21, 1957 in Jamestown, NY. She Graduated from Jamestown High School in 1975 and attended the University of Buffalo, receiving a Bachelors of science degree in 1981.

In her younger years Cheryl had a passion for photography and participated in showing dogs. She, with her husband Patrick, fostered multiple children which gave them a loving home in their greatest time of need. Cheryl enjoyed cooking, entertaining for friends and family and loved horses, dogs and tropical birds. She was full of life, always humming a tune. Cheryl will be missed by all she crossed paths with as she never met a person she couldn’t talk to.

Cheryl is survived by her step sons Christopher (Kristine) Goggan of Freeville, NY and Benjamin (Stefanie) Goggan of Odessa, FL; cherished grandchildren; Cole, Tyler, Ella, Hanna and Peyton Goggan; her sister Leigh (Mike) Jones of Jamestown, NY and brother Scott (Lisa) Kasperek of Fairport, NY; niece and nephew Bethany Kasperek of Iowa City, IA and Jacob Kasperek of Los Angeles, CA; her Uncle Ralph Farrar and many cousins in Jamestown, NY. Cheryl was pre-deceased by her beloved husband Patrick Goggan, son Andrew Goggan and her parents Leonard and Jean (Farrar) Kasperek of Jamestown, NY.

A brief service is planned for Saturday, September 9th at 10 am at the Sunset Hill Cemetery chapel in Lakewood, NY.
