Robert M. Main, 84, of Warren PA, died surrounded by family on Wednesday Feb. 9, 2023 at West Penn Hospital after an extended illness. Robert was born on Jan. 26, 1939 in Warren, PA to the late David and Frances Miller Main. Robert graduated from Warren Area High School and later retired from National Forge Co. as a machinist, after over 30 years of service. He also worked as a deputy fish warden for the state at another point in his career. Bob was active throughout his life but especially loved spending time with his family and grandchildren, hunting, fishing, gardening, and crafting ammo jewelry.
Robert married Carol Ann Hoffman on February 2, 1956 and they were married for 66 years. Robert is survived by his children Robert Main Jr. and wife, Pamela, of West Hickory PA, Rick Main and wife, Amy, of Warren PA, and Jeffery Main and wife, D’Ann, of Warren PA; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Celebration of life services will be held in Robert’s memory at the family’s convenience. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Warren Cancer Center or Warren Hospice.
