Olivia M. Brookens

She was born on September 3, 1929 in Erie, PA, a daughter to the late Joseph and Carmella (Gizzi) Livoti. Olivia was a receptionist at a Chevrolet dealership in California for many years. She recently moved to the Rouse Suites where she quickly made many friends. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and cooking for her family when they gathered.

She is survived by her husband of almost 73 years, Donn E. Brookens, her children, Ronald Brookens of CA, Bill Brookens and his wife, Denise, of CA, Tom Brookens of IN, Chris Vogel of IN and Deborah Leofsky and her husband, Ron, of Youngsville; a sister, Sarah Vieria of FL, as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Olivia was preceded in death by a son, Donald “Hoot” Brookens; a grandson, Shawn Brookens; two sisters, Gerri Martin and Ann Heisler and two brothers, John and Vincent Livoti.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
