Alexis Shepler, 76, of Warren, PA, passed away on Friday, Feb. 10, 2023, at the Rouse Home in Youngsville, PA. Alexis was born on Sept. 8, 1946, in Munhall, PA, the daughter of the late Alexander Muir and Ruth Redshaw Muir. She graduated high school in 1962, and then graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University. She was a substitute teacher for the Warren County School District from 1975 to 1990.
Alexis attended Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, enjoyed reading and crafting, and will be remembered as a loving wife and mother.
Alexis is survived by her son, Solomon David Shepler of Warren; sister, Virginia Ketterer of Christiansburg, VA; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Alexis is preceded in death on June 5, 2016, by her husband, Solomon James Shepler, whom she married in 1968.
Services for Alexis will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
