William “Bill” F. Troutman

William “Bill” F. Troutman, 88, formerly of Sheffield, PA, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2023, at Brookdale Lakeview, in Groveport, OH. Bill was born on August 19, 1934, in Kinzua, PA, the son of the late John Michael and Mary Catherine (Shaffer) Troutman. He graduated from Sheffield High School and then became a machinist at Betts for 43 years from which he retired. He also worked at O’Connor Machine Shop. Bill attended the Lutheran church in Sheffield, was a former member of the Sheffield Rod & Gun Club, and a member of the Masonic North Star Lodge No. 241.

Bill is survived by his daughter, Julie Hutchison and companion John Pagel of Pickerington, OH; and granddaughter, Jessica Villa-Cruz and husband Tony of Powell, OH; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death in 2016 by his wife, Roberta Troutman, whom he married in Warren, on November 24, 1956; sisters, Dora Malone, Bessie Campbell, Bonnie Burgeson, and Margaret Lawson; and brothers Allen, Claude, and James Troutman.

Friends will be received at Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, 1003 Penna Ave. E., Warren, PA, on Friday, January 6, 2023, from 10:00am to 12:00pm, at which time a memorial service will be held with pastor Jim Crossley, officiating.
