Robert Mark Hutchings

He was born Aug. 15, 1956, in Rochester, Pa., to the late Rev. Robert M. Hutchings and the late Paula E. (Newman) Hutchings. He was a 1974 graduate of Warren, Pa., Area High School. He graduated from Penn State University in 1980.

He moved to Texas that year and began his career as a computer system analyst. His first job took him to Philadelphia, Pa., but from there he moved to various cities as a system analyst specialist.

He loved music and was very knowledgeable about early blues musicians as well as the Beatles and other rock bands of the ’60s and ’70s.

He was a member of First Baptist Church in Warren as a teenager.

Rob was a kind and gentle soul and was a loving brother, uncle and brother-in-law. He lived in Mesquite, Texas, from 2008 until his death.

He is survived by his loving brother, Richard and his wife Kathleen of Garland, Texas; his sister, Barbara J. Hallock and her husband Terry of Warren; two nieces and a nephew in Texas and a niece and two newphews in western Pennsylvania.

Rob’s greatest joy was to be with his brother and his brother’s family.

He will be profoundly missed by his family and friends..
