Gary Thomas “Merve” Lindgren

He was born in Warren, Pa., to the late Ralph and Rita Fitzgerald Lindgren. Gary worked many jobs in his life, from race cars to welding. Most recently, he worked for the last eight years at Hermitage Steel. He loved NASCAR, fishing, foosball, shooting pool, playing darts, music and his cowboy boots. He also loved keeping in touch with his family and friends from Pennsylvania.

But, most of all, he loved his two daughters who survive him: Brooke Lindgren and Ariel Lindgren, both of Virginia. He was so proud of everything they accomplished. He is also survived by an aunt, Nancy (Arden) Smith of Irvine, Pa.; and several uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Merle and Elizabeth Fitzgerald, Ralph and Victoria Lindgren, and Elvira Johnson; his siblings: Barbara Smith and infant brother, David Lindgren. Gary will be sadly missed by all of us.
