Edward Alan Mead

Edward Alan Mead

Edward Alan Mead, 61, of Warren, Pa passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at his home.

He was a wonderful, loving father who always put his children first. He showed them the world that his parents showed him… a place of love, beauty, and awe. He taught them how to live life and explore every opportunity. But most importantly he taught them how to love.

A lumberjack all his life, Edward loved to be out in the woods. He knew every tree by its bark, and every animal by its squeak. He was the very best Grampa to his grandchildren who looked up to him dearly. There was nothing he enjoyed more than spending time with them. And he loved all the bonus children that came along with that as well because his favorite part of Jesus’s calling on his life was teaching children of God’s love, at which he did well. He also very much enjoyed riding his motorcycle.

Ed was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy (Smith) Mead, his father, Ralph Mead, and his beautiful daughter, Ashley Mead. We are all assured that he is at peace now that he is with Ashley, for he longed to see her again. Anyone who really knew Ed loved him, because he loved back.

He will be missed by many and is survived by his daughters, Kacie (Jamie) Mead-Crick and Allison Mead; his grandchildren, Winter Daisy Maeve Mead, Hunter Robert Telford, and Adonis James Lewis; his sister, Pamela Mead; a stepson, Brandon Baker and a step-grandson, Alex Baker.
