Darlene (Darr) Neidig

Darr graduated from Eisenhower High School, class of 1965, and attended Erie Business Center. She lived in Russell, Pa., until 1999, when she moved to Tennessee. In 2016, she moved to Lake Placid, Fla., and joined Memorial United Methodist Church.

Darr was preceded in death by her parents Beatrice M. and Bertrand L. Lohnes; a brother, Fenton Lohnes.

Darr is survived by her husband of 55 years, Budd F. Neidig; two sons: Nathaneal (Gayle) Neidig of Georgia, and Austin (Penny) Neidig of Tennessee; two grandchildren: Amanda (Nick) Carswell of Arizona, and Alexander (Reba) Hawkins of Illinois; two great-grandchildren: Mason and Jordan Hawkins; two sisters: Connie Nelson of New York, and Brenda Lauffenberger of Warren, Pa.; three brothers: Barton Lohnes of Colorada, Royal Lohnes of Jamestown, N.Y., and Bryan Lohnes of New Jersey; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Darr enjoyed travel, camping, refinishing antique furniture, high school (EHS) and University of Tennessee sports, concerts, musicals and plays.

Darr’s celebration of life will be held Oct. 1, at Covenant United Methodist Church (her former church home), 1624 Pennsylvania Ave., East, Warren, Pa. Calling hour at 1 p.m. and service at 2 p.m. Fellowship time to follow.
