Barbara Woll
KANE — Barbara Woll, 80, of Greeves St. in Kane, passed away Wednesday (Aug. 31) at UPMC Hamot. She was born on Feb. 9, 1942 in Manor Township, PA, the daughter of the late Carl Ford and Geraldine Kerns. On June 21, 1961, in Winchester, VA, she married Michael Woll, who preceded her in death.
Barb had worked at McCorys in Kane and then for many years at the Bon-Ton in Warren. She was a member of the Kane Garden Club, the Seneca Square Dancing Club, the Lucky Twirlers in Fryburg and the Warren Circle 6. She was also a huge Elvis fan and a frequent visitor to Graceland and a NASCAR fan, with Kyle Busch being her favorite driver.
She is survived by two daughters, Debra (Terry) Zampogna of Mesa, AZ and Wendi Radai of Kane; two grandsons Dustin (Courtney) Zampogna of Lake Havasu, AZ and Dakota (Sara McCord) Lundgren of Kane; two granddaughters, Maggie Zampogna of Hamburg, NY and Malysa (Mike Confer) Horton of Ludlow; three great-granddaughters, Kaiya Zampogna and Hayden Zampogna of Lake Havasu, AZ and Londyn Zampogna of Hamburg, NY;several nieces and nephews and her four fur-babies.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Steven Woll; one sister, Carol Mumau and two brothers James and Richard Long.
Friends are invited to attend a visitation which will take place at Cummings Funeral Home on Tuesday (Sept. 6) from Noon to 2:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 with the Rev. Bruce Kuhmer, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Kane, officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Tabor cemetery.
