Margaret C. Williams, 95, of Seminole Avenue, Corry, Pa., died Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2022, at the Corry Manor.

She was born on February 3, 1927 in Warren, Pa., a daughter of the late Francis and Mabel Rhoades Wolbert.

Margaret was raised and educated in Youngsville where she attended Youngsville High School. Over the years, she was employed at Corry Jamestown Corp., Sylvania in Warren and Aero Supply Co. She then began employment at Quality Markets as cashier and held the position of head cashier. She retired from there in 1986 after 29 years of service.

She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church and was an active member at the Corry Senior Center.

Margaret was a socialite and enjoyed making friends and being with people, some knew her as Queen Bee or Marnie. She enjoyed meeting her friends at the New Beginnings in Sugar Grove, and the Corry McDonald’s. She enjoyed going to the casinos with her son, the local races and watching NASCAR. She loved buying purses and getting a good deal, hunting, fishing, watching all types of sports, especially baseball and going to Benezette to watch the Elk.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Cecil E. Seamens and second husband, Mynferd “Myn” Williams; a son, Francis Seamens; a step-daughter, Madelyn Cole; one sister, Betty Eckman; and two brothers: Bill and Harold Wolbert.

Margaret is survived by one son, Bill Seamens; and close friend, Mona Aites, of Corry, Pa.; three step-daughters; Rebecca Arnink and husband, Jack, of Reno, Nev., Sylvia Skalos of Conneaut, Ohio, and Phyllis Maloney of Corry, Pa.; three stepsons: Terry Williams of Corry, Pa., Jerry Willliams and wife. Bobbi, of Corry, Pa., Joe Williams and wife, Donna of Surprise, Ariz.

Margaret is also survived by five grandchildren: Billi Jo, Heather, Peggy, Pam and Chris; also many step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Also by many nieces and nephews. Margaret also had several very close friends whom she was very close with and loved.

Family and friends are invited to call at St. Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 203 W. Washington St., Corry, Pa., on Saturday, Aug. 20, from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass Christian Burial there at noon. The Rev. Matthew Strickenberger will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Corry, Pa.
